Payne Stewart is a PGA Tour icon who became one of the game’s most-beloved and recognized players, winning eighteen tournaments around the world including three major championships.  He was known as an entertainer, jokester and golf fashion icon.  Those closest to him, however, knew him as a family man who was a devoted husband and father who was a lot of fun!  His daughter Chelsea said, “as competitive as my father was, he was more about caring for people.”  Payne had a deep and growing faith that shaped him into the legend that continues to inspire well beyond  his tragic death in 1999.
